TitanVPN Privacy Policy (Effective Nov 10 2025)
TitanVPN (“the Company”) complies with the Personal Information Protection Act of the Republic of Korea and all other applicable privacy laws. This policy explains how we collect, use, retain, and protect personal data in connection with all TitanVPN services (including our website and applications).
Article 1 – Purpose of Processing Personal Information
- ① Account registration & verification – to prevent unauthorized use and account theft through e-mail and password authentication.
- ② Service provision & quality assurance – VPN server management, concurrent-session control, fair-use traffic policy (FUP), and security maintenance.
- ③ Payment & refund handling – for legitimate billing, refund, and fraud prevention in compliance with tax obligations.
- ④ Customer support – to respond to inquiries, restore accounts, and improve service quality.
- ⑤ Legal compliance & law-enforcement cooperation – to provide data when lawfully requested by competent authorities.
Article 2 – Items of Personal Information Collected
- • Required: E-mail address and password (for registration and login)
- • Optional: Payment information (card issuer, transaction ID etc.)
- • Automatically collected: IP address, device identifier, total traffic usage, connection time
- • Customer support: Name (optional), contact e-mail, inquiry details
※ TitanVPN does not collect or store browsing history, visited URLs, DNS queries, session logs, or any communication contents.
Article 3 – Retention & Use Period
Personal data is deleted immediately upon account termination unless retention is required by law or internal policy:
- • E-mail address – retained 1 year for account abuse prevention and law-enforcement support
- • Payment & refund records – retained 5 years under consumer protection and tax laws
- • Customer inquiries – retained 3 years for dispute resolution
- • Login connection logs – retained 1 year for security and investigation purposes
All expired records are securely deleted or anonymized without delay.
Article 4 – Provision to Third Parties
- ① The Company does not share user data with third parties except in these cases:
- 1. Prior user consent;
- 2. Legal or judicial requests (such as warrants or court orders);
- 3. Necessary sharing with financial or payment institutions for settlement and refund purposes;
- ② Cross-border law-enforcement notice – When criminal activity is reasonably suspected from IP addresses within China or other foreign regions, TitanVPN may notify or cooperate with the relevant law-enforcement agency (e.g. Chinese Public Security Bureau) in accordance with law and international protocols. The scope is strictly limited to authentication records (IP and connection times) retained within the 1-year period.
Article 5 – Entrusted Processors (Data Processors)
- • Processors: Payletter Co., Ltd., NICEPAY, Toss Payments
- • Purpose: Payment and refund processing
- • Retention: Deleted immediately after the legal retention period expires
Article 6 – User Rights and Exercise
- ① Users may request access, correction, deletion, suspension of processing, or withdraw consent at any time.
- ② Requests will be processed within 10 days unless otherwise required by law.
- ③ Upon withdrawal, all data except those listed in Article 3 will be immediately destroyed.
Article 7 – Destruction Procedure and Method
- • Electronic files – permanently erased by irreversible technical means
- • Paper records – shredded or incinerated
Article 8 – Use of Cookies and Opt-Out
- ① Cookies are used to maintain session stability and improve service performance.
- ② Users may refuse cookies through browser settings, though some functions may be restricted.

Article 12 – Notification of Changes
Any addition, deletion, or modification to this policy will be announced on our website at least 7 days prior to taking effect.
